About Us:
Yokota Spouses' Club is a dedicated group of individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on our community. We take great pride in our philanthropic efforts. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for all, making Yokota a fantastic place to live for both military families and the local community. Through our welfare grants and scholarship programs, we actively support various organizations and initiatives that align with our vision of a thriving Yokota community. These grants and scholarships aim to empower local projects, educational pursuits, and programs that enhance the well-being of military families.
Local Impact:
Through funds generated by our YSC Asian Bazaar and YSC Thrift Store, we are able to finance a range of community-based projects and events. These proceeds are utilized to support local schools, youth organizations, cultural events, and other initiatives that foster a strong sense of community.
A Global Impact:
Our much-anticipated annual YSC Asian Bazaar is a vibrant celebration of cultures and a gathering of the Yokota community. This event showcases the diversity of our community, featuring unique crafts, furniture, jewelry, and more from different Asian cultures and Yokota Home-Based Businesses. Proceeds from this event go directly back into the Yokota community through welfare grants, our scholarship program, holiday give back events, and more!
YSC Thrift Store and Cherry Blossom Boutique:
Our YSC Thrift Store and Cherry Blossom Boutique are more than just shopping destinations – they are pillars of support for our philanthropic initiatives. By donating and shopping at these establishments, you directly contribute to funding essential programs that make a real difference in people's lives.
The YSC offers post-secondary merit-based scholarships every year to dependents whose sponsors are assigned to Yokota AB. YSC scholarships are funded by proceeds from the YSC Asian Bazaar and YSC Thrift Store.
